The Cincinnati Tigers were an American ice hockey franchise of the Central Hockey League based in Cincinnati , Ohio .

history

The Cincinnati Tigers began playing in the Central Hockey League for the 1981/82 season . They filled the void the Cincinnati Stingers had left in town a year earlier. In their only season, the team finished second in the North Division. In the subsequent playoffs for the Adams Cup they were defeated by the Dallas Black Hawks in the first round in the best-of-five series with 1: 3 wins.
