The Albuquerque Six-Guns were an American ice hockey franchise of the Central Hockey League from Albuquerque , New Mexico .

history

The Albuquerque Six-Guns started playing in the Central Hockey League for the 1973/74 season . In their only season, the team achieved only 16 wins in 72 games, placing them sixth and last in the league. As one of two teams they missed the following playoffs for the Adams Cup and after just one season the franchise was dissolved again.

It took over two decades until the New Mexico Scorpions from the Western Professional Hockey League in 1996 a professional team was resettled in Albuquerque.
