Michael "Mike" McKee (born June 18, 1969 in Toronto , Ontario ) is a former Canadian ice hockey player who played 48 games for the Nordiques de Québec in the National Hockey League in the course of his active career between 1988 and 1995 Defender has denied. Career

McKee initially played four years from 1988 to 1992 as a defense attorney at the prestigious Princeton University . Having him at the end of the 1989/90 season the leap into the Second All-Star Team of the Eastern College Athletic Conference , a league of the National Collegiate Athletic Association was successful he was in the NHL Supplemental Draft in 1990 at the first overall position of the Quebec Nordiques selected . However, the Canadian stayed in college for two more years for the time being and finished his studies.

At the beginning of the 1992/93 season McKee switched to the professional camp and played for the Greensboro Monarchs in the East Coast Hockey League and the Halifax Citadels in the American Hockey League , which had offered him a contract. His strong play made the Scouts of the Nordiques back to his attention and so they brought him to the season 1993/94 returned to the organization back. He ran that season for both the Cornwall Aces in the AHL and for the Nordiques in the National Hockey League . For Quebec he played a total of 48 games in which he scored three goals and prepared twelve. After another 36 games in the 1994/95 season with the Cornwall Aces, he ended his career.
