Pietro Willy Ruta (* 6. August 1987 in Gravedona ) is an Italian lightweight - rowers .

Career

The 1.85 m tall Ruta won the silver medal in the lightweight quadruple sculls at the U23 World Championships in 2008, and the Italian lightweight quadruple sculls won in 2009. In 2010, the easy Italian double scull won with Franco Sancassani , Pietro Ruta, Fabrizio Gabriele and Stefano Basalini at the European Championships . At the World Championships , the Italians took fourth place. In 2011 Ruta rowed in the lightweight single , at the world championships he won the silver medal behind the Dane Henrik Stephansen .
