Henrik Victor Stephansen (born August 6, 1988 in Copenhagen ) is a former Danish rower . In the lightweight - One he was world champion from 2011 to 2013.

Stephansen started rowing in 2000. At the Junior World Championships in 2006 he won the double scull title together with Nils Stene . In 2007 he won the bronze medal at the U23 World Championships with the lightweight quadruple scull ; at the rowing world championships in 2007 he took fifth place in the same boat class, but with no age limit. In 2008 he won the title at the U23 World Championships with the lightweight quadruple scull.

In 2009 he competed with Steffen Jensen in the lightweight double scull and finished third at the World Cup in Munich, and at the 2009 World Rowing Championships the two Danes rowed to eighth place. In 2010 Stephansen made his debut in the lightweight single and finished fourth at both the European and World Championships . In 2011 Stephansen won the World Cup regattas in Hamburg and Lucerne; at the world championships in Bled he won his first world title in the lightweight single.

Since the lightweight single boat class is not Olympic, Stephansen competed in the Olympic year 2012 at the World Cup opener in Belgrade in the single without weight restriction and finished ninth. After qualifying for the Olympic Games in the qualifying regatta, Stephansen took 13th place in Eton at the Olympiaregatta as the winner of the C-final. Two weeks later he went back to the world championships in the lightweight single and defended his title from the previous year. In 2013 Stephansen won both the European championships and the world championships in singles.

The 1.83 m tall Stephansen rows for the Roklubben Furesø. Stephansen also set various world records with the rowing ergometer .
