The Kreismusikschule Nordfriesland is a music school in the Schleswig-Holstein city ​​of Husum . School boards is the North Friesland Foundation of Nordfriesland . The Kreismusikschule is a member of the Association of German Music Schools .

Locations

In addition to the headquarters in the castle in front of Husum , the Nordfriesland district music school also has two district offices in Wyk on Föhr and Westerland on Sylt and a branch in Garding .

classes

According to its own information, the district music school is attended by around 2000 students aged between 18 months and 80 years. A parent-child course is offered for children from 18 months to four years, in which the children are made aware of music and the parents are introduced to playful music-making. Children from the age of four can try out different musical instruments in courses to find the right instrument for them.

(founded in 1952 as Husum Music School e.V. ), Friends of the North Friesland District Music School on Sylt e. V. (founded in 1970 as Musikschule Sylt e.V. ) and Friends of the Musikschule Föhr e. V. (founded in 1977 as the Föhr Music School ).
