Moritz Moss (* 15. March 1994 in Mainz ) is a German lightweight - rowers .

The German champion of 2016 in the lightweight single won the championship title in the lightweight double scull in 2012 and 2015 together with Jason Osborne .

At the Junior World Championships in 2012, Moos took fourth place in the single. In 2013 he and Jason Osborne won the lightweight double scull title at the U23 World Championships . At the 2013 World Championships, without age restriction, the German lightweight double scull with Moritz Moos, Julius Peschel , Jonas Schützeberg and Jason Osborne received the silver medal behind the Greek boat. In 2014, Moos and Osborne repeated their victory at the U23 World Championships, and at the 2014 World Championships they rowed to fifth place. A year later, the two secured sixth place at the 2015 World Championships, direct qualification for the 2016 Olympic Games. Moos and Osborne started the 2016 Olympic year with the silver medal at the European Championships in Brandenburg an der Havel behind the Irish lightweight double scull. At the 2016 Olympic Games , they finished ninth.

In 2017 and 2018 Moos rowed in the lightweight quad scull. At the 2018 World Championships in Plovdiv he won the world championship title together with Joachim Agne , Max Röger and Florian Roller .

The 1.76 m tall Moritz Moos started for the Mainz rowing club from 1878 . He is trained by Robert Sens .
