Christoph Schmölzer (born November 30, 1962 in Vienna ) is an Austrian rower and dentist . The four-time world champion is one of the most successful rowers in his country and his home club is the Viennese rowing club Pirat . He achieved his successes mainly in the boat class of lightweight double sculls and lightweight quad sculls . He rowed with Walter Rantasa .
At the Olympic Games he only reached 12th place.
Christoph Schmölzer is 23 times Austrian champion .
