Robert Sycz (born November 15, 1973 in Warsaw ) is a Polish rower .
Sycz first took part in the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta . In the first edition of the lightweight double two, he reached seventh place with Grzegorz Wdowiak . Four years later, at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, he and Tomasz Kucharski won the gold medal in the same boat class. At the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, he repeated this success with Kucharski and won a second gold medal.
Sycz started for his country at the then unofficial U23 World Championships Nations Cup in 1992 and ended his career after the 2011 World Rowing Championships . In addition to the two Olympic victories, he won six medals in the lightweight double scull at world rowing championships , including two gold medals in 1997 and 1998 . Sycz started for the Bydgostia Bydgoszcz association .
