Thomas Ford (born October 3, 1992 ) is a British rower .

Career

Thomas Ford finished fifth at the U23 World Championships in 2013 with the British eighth place , the following year he reached sixth place.

In 2017 Thomas Ford entered the World Cup with eighth place, he finished second in Belgrade and third in Poznan. At the 2017 European Championships , the British eighth finished fifth. At the end of September at the World Championships in Sarasota, Ford, along with Timothy Clarke and helmsman Harry Brightmore, finished fourth in the two with helmsman . In 2018 Ford switched to the four without a helmsman . Thomas Ford, Jacob Dawson , Adam Neill and James Johnston won the European Championships in Glasgow in 2018the silver medal behind the Romanians. In the same line-up, the British rowed to third place behind the Australians and Italians at the 2018 World Championships in Plovdiv. In 2019 Ford and Dawson moved to eighth. At the European Championships in Lucerne, the British eighth started with the line-up of Thomas Ford, James Rudkin , Thomas George , Mohamed Sbihi , Jacob Dawson, Oliver Wynne-Griffith , Matthew Tarrant , Josh Bugajski and Henry Fieldman . The British won the silver medal behind the Germany eight and ahead of the Dutch. At the world championships, the Germans won ahead of the Dutch and the British.
