Hillary Janssens
Hillary Janssens (born July 21, 1994 ) is a Canadian rower .
Hillary Janssens won the bronze medal at the U23 World Championships in 2014 with the four-man without helmsman in the line-up of Zoe Alexandra Fettig-Winn, Michelle Aylard, Hillary Janssens and Nicole Hare . A year later, the Canadian four-man without a helmsman won the silver medal with Caileigh Filmer , Morgan Cathrea, Hillary Janssens and Nicole Hare. In 2016, Janssens and Hare won in two without a helmsman .
At the 2017 World Championships , Hare and Janssens sat in the Canadian eighth and won the silver medal behind the Romanians. In 2018, Hillary Janssens and Caileigh Filmer won the World Cup regatta in Belgrade in a pair without a helmsman , and in Lucerne they took second place behind the New Zealanders Grace Prendergast and Kerri Gowler . At the World Championships in Plovdiv, the Canadians won ahead of the New Zealanders. In the following year, Janssens and Filmer competed at the World Championships in Linz both in two and eight. In two they won the bronze medal behind the New Zealanders and the Australians, whose crews also competed in eighth. In eighth place, New Zealand won ahead of Australia and the boat from the United States, the Canadians reached fourth place and thus the direct Olympic qualification for 2020.
