Nicole Hare

Nicole Hare (born July 26, 1994 in Calgary ) is a Canadian rower .

Nicole Hare took fifth place at the U23 World Championships in 2013 with the Canadian eighth , and in 2014 she won the bronze medal with the four without a helmsman in the line-up of Zoe Alexandra Fettig-Winn, Michelle Aylard, Hillary Janssens and Nicole Hare. A year later, the Canadian four-man without a helmsman won the silver medal with Caileigh Filmer , Morgan Cathrea, Hillary Janssens and Nicole Hare. In 2016, Janssens and Hare won in two without a helmsman . At the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro she competed with Jennifer Martins , the two finished 14th.

At the 2017 World Championships , Lisa Roman , Kristin Bauder , Nicole Hare, Hillary Janssens, Christine Roper , Susanne Grainger , Jennifer Martins, Rebecca Zimmerman and helmsman Kristen Kit rowed in the Canadian eighth and won the silver medal behind the Romanians. Roman, Grainger, Roper and Hare also competed in the four without a helmsman and finished ninth. In 2018, Hare only competed in the World Cup regatta in Lucerne and finished in second place with eighth. In 2019, Hare returned to the regular eight crew and took fourth place at the World Championships in Linz / Ottensheim .
