Alison Korn

Alison Jennifer Korn (born November 22, 1970 in Ottawa ) is a Canadian rower who won two Olympic medals.

Korn moved up in 1996 together with Heather McDermid in the Canadian eighth , who had come to the finish line as the sixth boat at the 1995 World Championships. At the Olympic Games in Atlanta in 1996, the boat took second place behind the Romanians. At the 1997 World Championships, the Romanians again won ahead of the Canadians. In addition, Korn competed with Emma Robinson in a pair without a helmsman and won the world title ahead of the Romanian duo Veronica Cochela and Georgeta Damian . While Korn and Robinson were able to defend their title in a pair of two in 1998, they won the bronze medal behind the Romanians and the Americans in eighth. In 1999, Korn no longer competed in a two-man race, but with eighth place they took third place as in the previous year. Korn won her second Olympic medal in Sydney in 2000 with bronze behind the Romanians and the Dutch women.
