from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The 1972 European Rowing Championships were held on the Beetzsee regatta course in Brandenburg an der Havel . The finals of the races in five women's boat classes took place on August 13, 1972. The most successful rowing team was sent by the Soviet Union with three gold medals. Due to the Olympic rowing regatta held in Munich in the same year, no races for men were held at the European Championships.
