Fritz Reinhold Holmer

Fritz Reinhold Holmer (born August 7, 1906 in Borås , † 1967 in Portugal ) was a Swedish painter and draftsman.

Life

Holmer studied from 1929 to 1931 at the then technical school in Stockholm with Carl Filip Mansson and from 1931 to 1937 with Issac Grünewald and Gösta von Hennigs at the Stockholm School of Art .

In 1932 he married Britta Lundkvist. His study trips abroad from 1937 to 1941 took him to France, Italy, Egypt, Switzerland, Holland and Belgium.

From 1939 Holmer became known through his own exhibitions in Sweden. The exhibitions took place in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Linköping. There were u. a. Still lifes and landscapes shown. Fritz Holmer is with his works u. a. represented in the Swedish National Museum , the Moderna Museet and the Waldemarsudde Art Museum in Stockholm.
