Fritz Scheuermann (born June 8, 1887 in Strasbourg ; † unknown) was a German lawyer and the first president of the Reichsfilmkammer at the time of National Socialism .

Life

Scheuermann, whose father was a secret government advice, studied after completing his schooling law . He then received his doctorate as Dr. Jur. From 1924 was Scheuermann as Councilor in the Ministry of Transportation operates and from 1925 as a lawyer.

After the seizure of power by the Nazis Scheuermann was from June 1933 the Supervisory Board of Filmkreditbank ago, pre-financed the films. In November 1933, Scheuermann was appointed the first President of the newly created Reichsfilmkammer by Joseph Goebbels .
