Fritz Schröder (born January 3, 1891 in Tangermünde , † August 16, 1937 in Hamburg ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Live and act

After attending primary school and a higher private school, Schröder completed a commercial apprenticeship. In addition, he was trained at the commercial school. He then worked as a commercial clerk until 1914. In 1909 he joined the SPD. From 1914 to 1933 he was the full-time managing director of the Central Association of Employees in Berlin. In addition, he was involved in the social democratic party and in the trade union press.

On April 28, 1933 Schröder came after replacement for the retired deputies Kurt Lowenstein in the last Reichstag of the Weimar Republic or the first Reichstag after the " seizure " of the National Socialists, where he remained until his forced resignation of the same on June 22, the year the Constituency 3 (Potsdam II). Schröder later emigrated to the Netherlands .
