Fritz Walter (architect)
Felix Friedrich Walter (born October 14, 1860 , † March 27, 1912 in Fürth ) was a German architect who lived and worked in Fürth and is best known for buildings of historicism and art nouveau .
Life
Numerous residential and commercial buildings in Fürth were designed by Fritz Walter and still shape the cityscape today. Above all, the boulevards of the Belle Epoque , the Hornschuchpromenade and the Königswarterstraße are largely determined by his buildings and those of Adam Egerer . The Geismannsaal is one of Walter's most famous buildings today .
Little is known about Fritz Walter's life. He was a member of the Fürth Masonic Lodge for Truth and Friendship .
