Fritz Usurer
Fritz Wucherer (born March 8, 1873 in Basel , † March 22, 1948 in Kronberg im Taunus ) was a German landscape painter of Swiss origin.
Life
Fritz Wucherer studied with Anton Burger from 1892 to 1894 . Then he went to Paris . In 1897 Wucherer returned to Germany and settled in Frankfurt am Main until 1901 . In the same year he went to Kronberg im Taunus at the suggestion of his teacher Burger. There he befriended Josefine Schalk , among others , who lived with him and his family from 1912. Wucherer soon joined the Kronberg painters' colony like her . Fritz Wucherer died in 1948 at the age of 75.
