FDTF, originally From Dawn to Fall, is an alternative / rock band from Vienna .

history

FDTF was founded in 2006 as "From Dawn to Fall" by Daniel Rumpel, Johannes Herbst, Stefan Eckhard, Philip Oszwald and Clemens Landkammer. In 2007 the music agency The Arcadia Agency became aware of the band and signed them in 2008. In the same year From Dawn to Fall released their first studio album The Beginning on the Austrian label Pate Records.

In the following years the band played a large number of concerts at home and abroad. Especially in Austria, the band was able to quickly increase its following through appearances at festivals such as Frequency , Nova Rock , Two Days a Week and the Vienna Danube Island Festival .

As a thank you to the rapidly growing fan base, the band released the Acoustic EP Acoustic Chapter in 2009 , which is still offered as a free download on the Internet.

In March 2011, FDTF released their second full-length album Rising. The album was recorded and produced in Rome under the direction of Vanilla Sky frontman Daniele Brian Autore. The album was mastered by US mastering engineer Brian Gardner (Big Bass Brian), who has already worked with artists such as Michael Jackson , 30 Seconds to Mars and Ozzy Osbourne . The album reached number 45 in the Austrian album charts and the single Rome ran on rotation on the Austrian radio stations Ö3 and Radio 88.6 .

In August 2011 the album "Rising" was released on the Japanese label Bullion Records .

In spring 2012 the debut album The Beginning was released late in Japan and promoted with a live tour in Japan in August 2012. The band also played an extensive European tour with the US pop punk band Mest .

In August 2013, the band worked with producer Dan Weller on their third long player "BLVRS" at Red Bull Studios in Copenhagen. The album was released on September 4, 2015. In advance, the song You're Not Alone was released in February , which brought FDTF to the single charts for the first time.
