chronology
Grant Street From the reach -

From the Reach is Sonny Landreth's ninth studio album . It was released on May 20, 2008 and was released five years after its previous album Grant Street . It is the first album that Sonny Landreth released on his own label Landfall Records .

Basic idea of the album

The album includes guest appearances by respected guitarists Eric Clapton , Robben Ford , Vince Gill , Eric Johnson , Mark Knopfler and other musicians such as Dr. John , Jimmy Buffett and Nadirah Shakoor . Instead of relying on guitar duels, Landreth wrote songs that tie in with the personal styles of his guest musicians and also embed the occasional vocal appearances organically in the material.

You can also find the instrumental Überesso , which he played at Eric Clapton's Crossroads Guitar Festival in 2007.
