Ledezma began his professional football career with LD Alajuelense in his native Costa Rica. In 1997 he moved to the top Dutch club Ajax Amsterdam , from where he moved to Paraguay to Cerro Porteño in 2000. From 2002 to 2003 the striker played in Bolivia for The Strongest La Paz . In 2003 he was loaned to his parent club LD Alajuelense for a year. From 2004 he played again for The Strongest La Paz. In 2005 Ledezma moved to Greece to Akratitos Ano Liossiou. Ledezma has been playing for SCR Altach since the beginning of the 2006/2007 season . He left the club in the summer and moved to FC Augsburg . He signed a two-year contract there. In his first year he scored 3 goals this season in 18 games.
In August 2008 Ledezma moved to FC Admira Wacker Mödling in the second Austrian league. Then he moved back to his home country for CS Herediano and reached the play-offs with the team and even the final of the national championship, which was only just lost. After Ledezma decided to resign from the Costa Rica national team in winter 2010, he moved back to Austria to his former club FC Trenkwalder Admira shortly afterwards . Due to private problems, Ledezma's contract with the Lower Austrians was terminated by mutual agreement in winter 2011.
