Fru Püttelkow (Low German for: Frau Püttelkow) is a character from the Low German folk song "Fru Püttelkow ut Hagenow " by the group De Plattfööt and has become a Mecklenburg cult figure . The song was written by Klaus Lass .

In the song, she is described as the owner of a men's clothing store where the whole city goes in and out to chat with her. Because of this information and her clever way of listening to people, Fru Püttelkow is always the best informed person in Hagenow. Due to the popularity of the song, which appeared on the Amiga long-playing record "Platt for ju" in 1982, over time she became a Mecklenburg cult figure, who since May 24, 2007 as a figure of the Fiek'n fountain on the town hall square of Hagenow stands.
