The Fryingpan River is a 30 miles long tributary of the Roaring Fork River in the US state of Colorado . The river has its source in the Sawatch Range in the White River National Forest in Pitkin County . It then flows along the county boundary of Pitkin Counties and Eagle Counties . Below Meredith it is dammed to the Ruedi Reservoir . At Basalt it flows into the Roaring Folk River.
