The state league Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania is the second highest division in men's football of the State Football Association of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and is one of the seventh divisions in the German league system . It is divided into two seasons, east and west, each with 16 teams.
The two champions of the seasons rise to the sixth class association league . If a champion renounces promotion, the team placed second or, if they do not, the team placed third is entitled to promotion. The two last placed will be relegated to the national class. In the 2017/18 season, the league system in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania was changed due to the falling number of clubs; since then the regional league has only been represented in two seasons (east and west).
Due to the corona pandemic, the 2019/20 season, following the suspension of game operations on March 13, 2020, was declared prematurely terminated by the extended LFV board on May 7. The official final scoring using the quotient rule is based on the additional decision on the season's scoring on May 26th. There will therefore be no champions, only relay winners.
Acting season winners and promoters of the 2019/20 season were FC Schönberg 95 (season west) and SV Waren 09 (season east).
Participating teams
After the national league increased from 32 to 34 teams due to the cancellation of the 2019/20 season, the teams of the 2020/21 season will compete against each other in three groups. In the season the following teams play in all seasons:
