The Zerpenschleuse pedestrian bridge is a south-eastern pedestrian bridge in Zerpenschleuse in the municipality of Wandlitz in the district of Barnim .
history
The bridge, built in 1965, crosses the federal waterway Havel-Oder waterway at kilometer 50.14 . It received a new handrail in 2007. Between September and December 2008, the waterways and shipping administration had repairs carried out, whereby the road surface and the superstructure seal were renewed and the transition structures were expanded or rebuilt. The wing caps were replaced, concrete elements repaired and the embankment stairs restored. The municipality of Wandlitz borne six percent of the construction costs of around 200,000 euros and the water and shipping administration borne 94 percent. The pedestrian bridge was reopened on December 18, 2008 with the representatives of the community of Wandlitz and the Eberswalde Waterways and Shipping Office together with the companies involved in the construction.
