Weak feet

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Foot weakness is a consequence of a lack of exercise , which often results from the lifestyle in industrialized countries . The foot muscles experience too little training stimulus and are therefore not able to completely build up the arches of the foot . Weak feet are a risk factor for developing back and knee problems in later years .

In children and adolescents , the underdevelopment of the foot muscles manifests itself as arches and / or splayfoot . Often, the weakness of the feet is overcome by doing recreational sports , barefoot running and foot gymnastics on a regular basis and the muscles thereby catching up on their development deficit. For this reason, the children's fun walking barefoot should by no means be suppressed.
