The Fuglefjellet ( Norwegian for Vogelsberg ) is a mountain in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . In the Sverdrupfjella it rises around 11 km east of the Roerkulten .
The mountain was photographed from the air during the German Antarctic Expedition in 1938/39 under the direction of polar explorer Alfred Ritscher . Norwegian cartographers, who also named it, mapped it on the basis of surveys and aerial photographs of the Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1949–1952) and aerial photographs of the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960).
