The Instax Square SQ10 is a hybrid instant camera from the Japanese manufacturer Fujifilm . The camera was launched in May 2017.
technical features
The camera has a 1/4-inch CMOS image sensor with an image resolution of 1920 by 1920 pixels. The recorded images can be printed out directly as an instant image using a built-in printer in the format 86 mm by 72 mm (image size: 62 by 62 mm).
The Instax Square also has the following features:
- 28.5 mm focal length (35 mm equivalent, fixed focal length)
- F-number 2.4
- Automatic exposure index between ISO 100 and 1600
- Built-in flash
- 3-inch (7.6 cm) TFT color LCD monitor with around 460,000 pixels
- Micro USB port for charging the battery
- Micro SD card slot for storing the images (in addition to the internal memory)
- Triggers on both sides for left and right handers
Hybrid technology
The Instax Square SQ10 offers the possibility to edit the photographed images before printing them. The previously released, purely analog instant cameras of the Instax series do not offer this function. The photos can be provided with various filters and a light or dark vignette and the exposure corrected. The camera also allows photography without film, as the images can either be saved in the internal memory or on a micro SD card.
