technical features

The SQ6 exposes the images on the same instant film in the format 86 mm by 72 mm (image size: 62 by 62 mm) as the hybrid sister model Instax SQ10 . Each film cassette contains 10 pictures. The focus takes place over 3 distance ranges, which can be selected via the different recording modes:

  • 0.3 - 0.5 m (macro mode)
  • 0.5 - 2 m (automatic mode)
  • 2 m to infinity (landscape mode)

The Instax SQ6 also has the following features:

  • 65.75 mm focal length (fixed focal length)
  • F-number 12.6
  • Built-in flash
  • Exposure time 1.6 - 1 / 400s (program controlled)

particularities

The SQ6 comes with three special colored filters that can be clamped in front of the flash. This allows the images to be “colored” when the flash is switched on.
