The Fukuro Cove (from Japanese 袋 湾 Fukuro-ura , German 'pocket bay' ) is a small bay on the Prince Harald coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It is located 1.5 km southwest of Mount Chōtō on the west side of the Langhovde range of hills .
The bay was mapped on the basis of measurements and aerial photographs of the Japanese Antarctic Expedition (1957–1962). Descriptive naming has been recognized since 1972. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names translated the Japanese name into English in 1975.
