The radio clock is one of the media Klambt weekly edited television magazine . It was first published in November 1952 by the Dortmund Union-Verlag , which originally designed the Funk watch as an “Illustrierte Funk-Zeitung” .

history

In 1967 the title was acquired by Springer Verlag. In 1979 the print run was 2,673,000 copies - currently around 518,000 copies are sold every week.

Bettina Plickert has been the editorial manager of Funk Uhr since November 2011, as is the case with Bildwoche and TVneu . Christian Hellmann and Herbert Martin are the editors-in-chief.

On January 1, 2014, the Funk Uhr was sold to the Funke Mediengruppe together with other Axel Springer SE magazines . In order to meet the requirements of the Federal Cartel Office, the Funke media group had to part with the program guides Funk Uhr , Bildwoche , TV Neu and die Zwei. Since May 2014, Funk Uhr has belonged to the Klambt media group along with nine other program guides .

Orientation and content

According to its own statement, the Funk watch is aimed specifically at the female readership.

The radio clock appears in regionalized editions, in which the program of the respective regional broadcaster is printed between those of the ARD, the ZDF and the private broadcasters, while the programs of all other regional broadcasters are bundled further back.
