Furla is an Italian fashion company founded by Aldo Furlanetto in Bologna in 1927 as a leather goods store. As a stock corporation , it is majority owned by the Furlanetto family.

Under the management of Paolo Furlanetto, the son of the founder Aldo, the company expanded worldwide. Furla is represented in more than seventy countries. The products, handbags and accessories , are sold in 320 single-brand boutiques, 156 of which are owned by the company and 164 others are operated by franchisees . The products will continue to be manufactured in Bologna, Italy but also in Bulgaria. In 2008, Giovanna Furlanetto, daughter of founder Aldo and successor to Paolo, founded the Furla Foundation, which is committed to young talent in all areas of art and fashion design .
