Fury im Bobbejaanland ( Lichtaart , Belgium ) is a steel roller coaster of the type Infinity Coaster from the manufacturer Gerstlauer Amusement Rides , which opened on June 24, 2019. The special thing about the train is that the passengers can use buttons on their brackets to decide whether they want to travel forwards or backwards. The majority principle determines the direction of travel. In the event of a tie, a random decision is made as to whether the trip should be carried out backwards or forwards. For passengers who only want to go forward, there is a train that only goes forward.
The 600 m long route reaches a height of 43 m. In order to align the trains according to the selected direction of travel, there is a rotating platform after the station that turns the train in the corresponding direction. The train is then accelerated in the direction of the outside top hat by means of an LSM launch . The train has not yet made it and rolls it off again. The train accelerates further and climbs the Jr. Scorpion Tail roller coaster element, which was first installed at Fury . He rolls it down again, continues to accelerate and now creates the top hat. On the further route, a corkscrew was installed , among other things . The route ends with another Jr. Scorpion Tail , which the train rolls down again and brakes in front of it. The train returns to the station via another rotating platform.
