content

Futureshit , the title track of the CD, is structured like a typical battlerap song . In this song he describes the cornerstones of his rap music: "Money, drugs, groupies, sex, cars."

A battle track in which Butters raps about other MCs and himself is underestimated. Here he explicitly emphasizes that he is not only as a fictional character but also as a person as he describes it in his verses.

Kitty Pitty is first and foremost a track about women and money, as naked women and money play the main visual roles in the video (ages 18 and up). However, the text is mainly about the position of rappers, fans, women and Lance Butters themselves in the hip-hop business. The refrain describes the arrogance of the scene. The term "kitty pitty" means something like "poor little kitten" and is aimed at those snooty people.

Locals is a discourse against all rappers who are only known in their hometown. The point is that rappers who mess with their pants are in the end just small numbers who can't get out of their “village” with their music.

Marshmellow describes Butters' preference for money and drugs a little deeper and that he has reached “top” (“I don't have a team, I have employees”).

Alles Goody is one of the few tracks that Lance Butters real-talk raps on. The song processes the experiences and insights into the scene after the successful release of the Selfish EP . However, on this track too, he never tires of propagating his “I don't care” and “Selfish” attitude: “But I'm gone if there's something where I earn more”. "

production

The entire album was produced by Lance Butters' house producer Bennett On, who is also under contract with Four Music.

Cover design

The album cover shows a dark blue colored brick wall on which neon tubes are mounted to form a Lance Butters / Iron Man mask.

reception

The reviews of the EP were mixed. Some accused Butters and On that the EP was badly mixed or that the EP was based too much on the previous EP selfish and was more a continuation of it than a new, independent EP. There was agreement, however, that Lance Butters and Bennett On are a perfect match.

With the single futures hit Butters was also able to enter the Austrian charts at number 72 for a week.
