FYRE! is an international rock formation founded in 2011 by the Argentine singer Alejandra Burgos, the German bassist and producer Lars Ratz and the Spanish guitarist Tolo Grimalt (both previously with Metalium ).

history

The original band that went to FYRE! was founded in Spain in 2011. The German bassist and producer Lars Ratz as well as the Spanish guitarist Tolo Grimalt - both previously with Metalium - were looking for a suitable singer for a new rock band from 2009, who should bring everything that makes a spectacular front woman: strong, varied voice, impressive Radiance and concise appearance. After two years, Lars Ratz met Alejandra Burgos from Argentina at a village festival on the church square of the smallest Balearic island of Formentera in Spain, whose positive reputation already preceded her in the European music scene.

In the beginning FYRE! even smaller gigs in Spain under the name "Rockaloca". Since 2013 she has been performing under the name FYRE! on. She went on a European tour with Alice Cooper, Michael Schenker Group (MSG) and Anastacia. Her debut album Missy Powerful was released on October 24, 2014 via the Hamburg distributor Soulfood and across Europe via the setup of AFM Records.

The band

FYRE! consists of a solid line-up that has remained stable since the debut Missy Powerful . Music and text are created by FYRE! in the team, there is no single composer, but the band wants to include the influences of every musician.

The front woman

Alejandra Burgos is an Argentinian singer . She grew up under simple circumstances in Buenos Aires as the eldest of four sisters in a family of musicians. Her father taught five-year-old Alejandra to play the guitar, who soon began composing her own songs. At the age of 15 she began performing in local blues clubs. Shortly after her twentieth birthday, she moved to Europe to expand her career from there. Alejandra Burgos has lived in Spain since then. Her performances quickly made her known in the club scene and gave her gigs in legendary clubs such as the 100 Club in London and the Cavern Club in Liverpool even without professional management .

style

FYRE! plays rock , whereby the musical influences of the musicians mix strongly. Alejandra Burgos is influenced by the Beatles , Elvis Presley , Janis Joplin and the blues , Tolo Grimalt has his roots in classic rock , Lars Ratz grew up with heavy metal and Sergi Tomas, as a youngster in the band, internalized modern rock from the 1990s.
