Gábor Gyukics

Gábor G. Gyukics (* 1958 in Budapest ) is a Hungarian - American writer and translator .

Live and act

Gyukics lived in the Netherlands for two years and then in the United States between 1988 and 2002. He then went back to Budapest, where he worked on a translation of North American indigenous poets, and then to Vienna.

As a writer, he writes in both Hungarian and English.

Gyukics translates from Hungarian to American English as well as from English to Hungarian.

Gyukics has received numerous prizes and awards.
