Gábor Szalafai

Gábor Szalafai [ ˈgaːbor ˈsɒlɒfɒ.i ] (born April 13, 1985 ) is a Hungarian handball player .

The 1.96 meter tall and 88 kilogram right winger is under contract with Gyöngyösi KK . Before that he played for Dunaferr SE , Győri ETO KC . With these two clubs he played in the EHF Cup (seasons 2003/04, 2007/08, 2009/10) and in the European Cup Winners' Cup (2008/09).

Gábor Szalafai scored ten goals in ten international matches for the Hungarian national team (as of December 2013); he was in Hungary's squad for the 2010 European handball championship and in the extended squad for the 2014 European championship .
