Géraldine Nakache (born February 16, 1980 in Puteaux , France ) is a French actress , film director and screenwriter .

Life

Géraldine Nakache comes from a Jewish family. Her older brother is the filmmaker Olivier Nakache . She graduated in film studies with the Diplôme d'études universitaires générales . She then worked as a director and production assistant for the French television channel Canal + . She made her screen debut as an actress in the love comedy Comme t'y es belle! Published in 2006 and directed by Lisa Azuelos . at the side of Michèle Laroque and Aure Atika . Together with Hervé Mimran , she wrote and staged her directorial debut in 2010 with the comedy Tout ce qui brille . Both were nominated for the best first work at the 2011 César French film award.

From 2009 to 2011 she was married to the French comedian and actor Manu Payet .
