KS Górnik Konin (completely Klub Sportowy Górnik Konin ) is a football club from the Polish city ​​of Konin .

history

The club, founded on June 14, 1957 under its current name, had its most successful sporting period between 1992 and 2004, when the club was represented with short interruptions in the second highest Polish division, today's 1st division . During this period, the narrowly missed promotion to the Ekstraklasa in 1998 and reaching the final of the Polish Football Cup in the same year under the name Aluminum Konin fell . In the 2012/13 season the club was relegated to the 4th division, and in 2016 it was promoted to the 3rd division.
