The Kazimierz Górskis Golden Elf Stadium (full name: Polish stadium Miejski im. Złotej Jedenastki Kazimierza Górskiego w Koninie ; German  municipal stadium in Konin named after the golden team of Kazimierz Górski ) is a football stadium in the Polish city ​​of Konin . It is the home ground of the women's soccer club Medyk Konin and KS Górnik Konin . The stadium belongs to the Miejski Ośrodek Sportu i Rekreacji w Koninie (MOSiR Konin, German  municipal sports and leisure center in Konin ).

The facility, inaugurated in 1975 near the river Warthe , currently offers 7,871 spectators, 2,921 seats. It was largely funded by local industry. At the beginning, the large number of around 15,000 visitors. At the end of the 1990s, the old wooden benches on the longitudinal stands in the west and east were replaced by plastic seats. This was at the time when Górnik Konin (then: Aluminum Konin) reached the final in the Polish Football Cup 1997/98 and only just missed promotion to the Ekstraklasa . In the semi-finals of the Cup between Konin and Polonia Warsaw , 9,000 spectators filled the stadium. To this day, this is the visitor record. In 2011, the remaining benches were removed from the stadium so that most of the stands can no longer be used. The sports facility is named after Kazimierz Górski (1921-2006), the former coach of the Polish national soccer team from 1971 to 1976. The city decided on March 21, 1991. With Górski, the team celebrated their greatest successes and was Olympic champion in 1972 , achieved at the Football World Cup in 1974 finished third and won the silver medal at the 1976 Summer Olympics .
