Krystian Bielik (born January 4, 1998 in Konin ) is a Polish football player . The midfielder and U21 international is under contract with Derby County .
Career
society
Beginnings in Poland
Krystian Bielik began his career in his hometown with Górnik Konin and joined the youth team in Lech Posen in 2012 . For the 2014/15 season he moved to Legia Warsaw's first team at the age of 16 . On August 24, 2014, he made his Ekstraklasa debut in a 2-0 home game against Korona Kielce , where he was on the field for the full game. On December 11, 2014, he came on for two minutes in the Europa League in a 2-0 home win against Trabzonspor after he had been substituted for Ondrej Duda .
Switch to Arsenal and loan shops
On January 21, 2015, Bielik moved to the Premier League for Arsenal FC . He has only been used in league games for the club's U21s, who play in the U21 Premier League . On October 27, 2015 Bielik made his debut in the 3-0 loss in the League Cup against Sheffield Wednesday for the first team of the Gunners .
At the end of January 2017, Bielik was awarded to the English second division club Birmingham City until the end of the season. In January 2018, a loan to third division club FC Walsall followed , for which he did not appear in a competitive game. The 2018/19 season Bielik played at Charlton Athletic in EFL League One.
Derby County
For the 2019/20 season, Bielik moved to the second division club Derby County .
National team
Bielik came on September 10, 2013 in the 4-2 win against Austria for the first time for the Polish U16 selection . On August 27, 2014, he made his debut in the 3-0 win against Norway for the U17 national team . Two days later he scored his first goals in professional football in a 4-0 win against Sweden with the 1-0 and 3-0 goals.
