Craig Forsyth (born February 24, 1989 in Carnoustie ) is a Scottish football player who has been under contract with the English second division club Derby County since 2013 .
Career
Dundee FC
Craig Forsyth made his debut on November 11, 2006 at the age of 17 for Dundee FC in a 3-2 away win over Livingston FC . After a temporary move on loan to FC Montrose and FC Arbroath , he established himself as a regular at the Scottish second division team in the 2009/10 season. In the subsequent 2010/11 season he scored eight goals in thirty-three league games.
Watford FC
On June 21, 2011 Forsyth moved to the English second division club Watford and signed a three-year contract. During the Football League Championship 2011/12 he played twenty league games for his new club and scored three goals. On October 19, 2012, he moved to the fourth division Bradford City on loan due to poor employment opportunities in Watford . On March 4, 2013 there was another loan deal to the second division Derby County .
Derby County
After the convincing loan deal, Derby signed him on a firm contract basis at the beginning of the 2013/14 season.
National team
He made his first international match on May 28, 2014 in the friendly against Nigeria , when he came on in the 77th minute.
