Göran Hagberg (born November 8, 1947 in Bjuv ) is a former Swedish football player and coach.

career

Player career

Hagberg played at Bjuvs IF in his hometown until 1965 . He then went to Landskrona BoIS , where he played until 1968. In 1969 he moved to the reigning Swedish champions Östers IF in the Allsvenskan . By 1979, the goalkeeper played 242 games in the Swedish House of Lords. He won the Swedish Cup in 1977 and won the Swedish championship a year later. In 1980 he went to the lower class Alvesta GIF , where he worked as a game coach. 1982 made a brief comeback in the Allsvenskan when he stood between the posts ten times for AIK Solna . He then moved to Ljungby IF as a player- coach , where he ended his active career at the end of the 1983 season.

Between 1973 and 1979 Hagberg guarded the Swedish gate 15 times . As a substitute, he took part in the 1974 and 1978 world championships.

Coaching career

After finishing his playing career, Hagberg moved to the coaching bench. He had been a game coach from 1980 to 1982 and 1983. From 1986 he was in charge of IFK Värnamo . He then was a coach at Myresjö IF from 1990 to 1992 . In 1993 he worked again as a game coach at Karlskrona AIF . After the season he returned to Ljungby IF , where he worked until 1996. In 1997 he was with Myresjö IF , in 1998 with Vislanda IF .
