Frans Gösta Brodin (born February 15, 1908 in Gothenburg , † June 18, 1979 there ) was a Swedish sailor .

Gösta Brodin, who sailed for Göteborgs Kungliga Segelsällskap , took part in the kite boat class at the 1948 Olympic Games in London . Besides Hugo Johnson, he was a crew member of the Slaghoken , skippered by Folke Bohlin . In a total of seven races, the Slaghoken secured a victory and was among other things second three times, so that they finished the regatta taking place in Torquay in second place with 4621 total points, giving the Swedes the silver medal behind the Pan by Thor Thorvaldsen from Norway and before the Snap received from William Berntsen from Denmark.
