Gülbahar Kültür
Gülbahar Kültür (* 1965 in Altınordu ) is a Turkish writer and DJ who has lived in Bremen since 1979 .
The areas of work of the author, who works in both German and Turkish and who received a poetry prize in Istanbul in 1977 , are poetry , short prose , fairy tales and novels as well as literary translations.
In addition, Kültür has worked as a freelancer for Funkhaus Europa des WDR since 1999 in the area of moderation and music compilation. Since 2002 she has also worked for the Istanbul "Açık Radyo". She also compiled CDs Made in Germany for the Turkish market : with a selection of German music productions. Gülbahar Kültür has put together more than two dozen double samplers for the German label "Lola's World" and is one of the world's most famous female DJs for the field of "oriental pop music".
