Günter Bongert

Günter Bongert (* 1953 in Sehlem in Lower Saxony ) is church music director, organist , choir director and conductor .

Life

Günter Bongert studied children's choir work and piano in Braunschweig from 1970 onwards, completing the state music teacher examination. He then studied church music at the Lübeck University of Music under professors Matthias Janz and H. Gebhard, among others . From 1980 to 2014 he was a church musician at the St. Martin Church in Nortorf , where he directed the St. Martin Kantorei. He also supervised and conducted the orchestra and supervised and directed several children's and youth choirs. In 1999 he was awarded the title of Church Music Director (KMD).

Awards

In 1995 he received the Rendsburg / Eckernförde district culture award.
