Günter Fork
Günter Fork (born August 17, 1930 in Duisburg ; † April 11, 1998 ) was a German composer and university professor.
Fork taught as a professor of music theory at the Cologne University of Music . His textbook for score playing , which was reviewed by Wolfgang Stockmeier in the specialist journal Forum Kirchenmusik , is, alongside the older work by Heinrich Creuzburg, a standard work in the training of Kapellmeier and church musicians.
Fork died in 1998 at the age of 67 and was buried in the Melaten cemetery in Cologne (corridor 26 (Y)).
