Günter Franzen

Günter Franzen (born January 17, 1947 in Hann. Münden ) is a German writer , group analyst and essayist .

Life

Günter Franzen completed his studies as a qualified pedagogue and qualified social worker . He lives as a writer and psychotherapist in Frankfurt am Main and is a freelancer for the Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung , the Frankfurter Hefte / Neue Gesellschaft and the Deutschlandradio Kultur . His work includes novels , short stories and essays . In 1988 he took part in the Ingeborg Bachmann Competition and in 1991 in the competition for the International Journalism Prize in Klagenfurt .
