Günter Haupt

Günter Haupt (born September 11, 1904 in Neuruppin , † July 14, 1946 in Leipzig ) was a German legal scholar . He was best known for his work on factual contractual relationships .

Live and act

Günter Haupt was born in 1931 with his dissertation The Air Space. A study on constitutional and international law at the Albertus University in Königsberg earned his doctorate and habilitation in 1935 at the same university with the text The general terms and conditions of German banks .

After several years as a private lecturer at the Universities of Königsberg (1935–1937), Leipzig (1937–1938) and Jena (1938–1939), he became Professor of Civil Law , Commercial Law , Business Law , Insurance Law and Aviation Law at the Law Faculty of the University of Leipzig in 1939 , whose dean he was in 1941–1942.
